A pre-purchase vehicle inspection is the only true way to buy a pre-owned vehicle. All of our inspection reports include a full catalog of high definition photos to document your vehicle and to highlight any areas of concern.
For our out of state clients we also offer full video inspection services all filmed in 1080p High definition video(additional charges apply). Now you can choose the level of inspection that suits your needs and budget. We offer 2 levels to choose from.
Economy inspection

Our technician will travel to the vehicle location to complete a full inspection report of the vehicle including
- Exterior appearance – paint condition(marks,dents,chips,scratches), Lights (bulbs, lenses), glass
- Tires and wheels – tire condition(tread depth, age), wheels(marks, cracks)
- Under Hood – Oil leaks(visually accessible), Fluids(level, condition), belts, listen for abnormal noises/smooth idle.
- Interior condition – seats, carpet, dash board, headliner, smoke odors, door panels, spare tire ect.
- Accessory function – check operation of radio, dash lights, wipers, seats, windows, door, trunk, ect.
- 5 Mile test drive – Check for vibrations, wind noise, brake operation, engine performance, ect.

In addition to the items listed above the Premium inspection will also include
- Auto check vehicle history report – 200 days faster than the other guys history report
- A complete health check of the vehicles on-board computer system
- Undercarriage inspection – Lift vehicle on ramps to inspect axles, struts, sway bars, driveshaft, fluid leaks, exhaust systems, rust damage, ect

Auto Spec used vehicle inspections should not be confused with a state inspection which certifies a vehicle to be legally road worthy. Auto Spec reserves the right to add an additional charge for travel expenses for vehicles located over 50 miles from our office location.
